May God bless you on your Wedding Day and in your life together.

Banns of Marriage
Banns of marriage are automatically called at the church in which you are to be married, but if one of you lives outside the parish of Seaton Carew, banns must also be read at the Church of England church in their own parish.  You must provide a certificate from the vicar of this other parish to say they have been read there.  Banns can only be read within the three months prior to the wedding.  No Registrar's certificate is required because the Vicar of the parish is the registrar for all marriages conducted in his church.

Photographs
Your official photographer may take photographs before and after the service and in the vestry during the signing of the register.  If he has not previously photographed weddings at Holy Trinity, he/she should speak to the Vicar half an hour before the service.

Video Recording
There are legal requirements for video recording and the Vicar must be contacted for his agreement and the preparation of the necessary documents at least 3 weeks before the wedding.  Video recordings will only be allowed when these conditions have been fulfilled.

Music
Please contact the Organist Derryck Pinfield in good time before your wedding date, to discuss music for the service.  You may book the church choir, who will not only add volume to the hymns you choose, but can entertain your guests with a special item while you are signing the registers in the vestry.  Please see the Choir web page for information on popular items.

Service Sheets
If you have your own service sheets printed, please ensure they are delivered to church at least 30 minutes before the service begins.  You may give them to the Vicar at the wedding rehearsal if you wish.

Flowers
If you wish to place any flowers in church, please make prior arrangement to do this.  Flowers placed in church are not to be removed after the service.

Car Parking
There is limited car parking available at the west end of the church for the elderly or disabled guests, and the bridegroom and best man if they use private transport.
